By using Arco ("the Software") or Arco Cloud ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Software or Service.

2. Description of Service

Arco is open-source backup software that creates encrypted, deduplicated backups of your files. Arco Cloud is an optional cloud storage service for storing your encrypted backups remotely.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your encryption keys and passwords. Arco uses end-to-end encryption, meaning we cannot recover your data if you lose your encryption key.

4. Arco Cloud

If you use Arco Cloud, your backups are stored encrypted on our servers. Use of Arco Cloud is subject to additional terms presented at the time of subscription.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Software and Service are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, damages, or other losses resulting from your use of the Software or Service. You are solely responsible for maintaining additional copies of your important data.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software or Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
